WOMEN EMPOWERMENT CELL
Vision
The Women Empowerment Cell in SEA College of Science, Commerce, and Arts strives to up lift the status of women by empowering them with the rights skill and self-confidence.
Mission:
To create awareness of feminine potential.
Objective:
- To promote a culture of respect and equality for the female gender.
- To create a conducive counseling environment for the female gender to share their problems.
- To make them aware of the guide lines of the Supreme Court and to ensure that sexual harassment is treated as an unacceptable social behavior within the institution and society.
- To conduct seminars workshops to impart knowledge of opportunities and tools available and train the women.
- Provide a safe, secure fit for purpose learning/working environment.
- Deliver and expand a variety and range of training to meet the identified need.
- To create social awareness about the problems of women, particularly gender discrimination.

Roles and Functions:
- To encourage involvement through academic, cultural, and outreach activities such as talks, seminars, workshops, community action, drama, street theatre, poster-making, etc.
- To become a resource center for women and provide a forum for the exchange of ideas.
- To review safety and security measures for female employees and girl students at the college campus.
- The cell intends to bring girl students to the forefront of different activities in the college by offering various facilities and benefits to them. It provides a platform for female students to explore their co-curricular abilities.
