ENTREPRENEURSHIP

The Entrepreneurship development cell (EDC) of this college was established in the year 2022, with principal Dr. Muthe Gowda leading its formation. The EDC has been actively conducting entrepreneurship programs with focused initiatives to promote entrepreneurship among students. Mrs. Nirmala, Dean of Commerce, Bangalore University, inaugurated the EDC on 20th july 2022.

The entrepreneurship cell at S.E.A college focuses on developing an entrepreneurial spirit and culture among students, which we believe is instrumental for the development of our country. Students are motivated to nurture a passion for self-employment and to become job creators and providers, rather than job seekers, in the present world.

Objectives 

• To inculcate within the faculty and the students the need and importance of ED

• To promote a culture of innovation driven enterprise among the students.

• To enable the students to be self reliant in their employment.

• To provide facilities and trainings for skill development with formal education

• To Develop Self Esteem of Young Entrepeneurs

• To motivate students to develop their start up

• Fostering and developing entrepreneurship among the student community

• Enhancing innovative thinking in order to develop new products

Our plan 

• Organize awareness program on Entrepreneurship

• Conduct business plan competitions

• Organize Lectures, workshops and seminar by renowned personalities from

different domains of expertise.

• To arrange skill development programs related to ED

• To provide a platform for interaction with established entrepreneurs.

• To arrange industrial visits
