In a time bound manner, aiming at ensuring support services to the victimized and termination of the harassment.<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Recommend appropriate punitive action against the guilty party to the management. Here it should be noted that according to the supreme court guild lines sexual harassment can be defined as \u201cunwelcome\u201d sexually determined behaviour as:<\/span><\/li><\/ul><ol><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Physical contact and advances:<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Demand and request for sexual favours:<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Sexually collared remarks:<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Showing pornography and,\u00a0<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Other unwelcome physical, verbal or non-verbal contact of sexual nature.<\/span><\/li><\/ol><ul><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The following is also sexual harassment and is covered by the committee:<\/span><\/li><\/ul><ol><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Eve-teasing.<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Unsavoury remarks.<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Jokes causing or likely to cause awkwardness or embarrassment.<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Gender based insult or sexual remarks and<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Forcible physical touch or molestation.<\/span><\/li><\/ol><ul><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Frequency of meeting: one in a year and as and when necessary.<\/span><\/li><\/ul><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Procedure upon filing of complaint.<\/span><\/p><ol><li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Meeting will be held if a complaint is received by any member.\u00a0<\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> The written complaint is taken and the committee prepares and submits the detailed statement of the incidents within two days.<\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> An enquiry will be held with the members of Internal complaints Committee<\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> The issue will be discussed and finalized within seven days\u00a0<\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> File the minutes of the inquiry.\u00a0<\/span><\/li><\/ol>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-6cf31d1 elementor-align-center elementor-widget elementor-widget-button\" data-id=\"6cf31d1\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"button.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-button-wrapper\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<a class=\"elementor-button elementor-button-link elementor-size-sm\" href=\"https:\/\/seadegree.ac.in\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/01\/4.-ICC.pdf\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<span class=\"elementor-button-content-wrapper\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<span class=\"elementor-button-text\">Constitution<\/span>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/span>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/a>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Internal Complaints Committee Vision and Mission Vision: &#8211;\u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0To envision a safe environment and protection against sexual harassment of women at college and for redressal of ensure gender equality.
