The committee is reconstituted comprising of the following members.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p><b>Objectives, Roles and Responsibilities of college Internal Complaints Committee (ICC)<\/b><\/p><ul><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Prevent discrimination and sexual harassment by promoting gender unity among students and employees.<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Make recommendations to the management for the changes\/colorations in the rules for students in the prospectus and by-laws to make them gender just and lay down procedures for the prohibition, resolution, settlement, and prosecution of acts of discrimination and sexual harassment, by the student or employees.<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Deal with the cases of discrimination and sexual harassment against women. In a time-bound manner, aiming at ensuring support services to the victimized and termination of the harassment.<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Recommend appropriate punitive action against the guilty party to the management. Here it should be noted that according to the supreme court guild lines sexual harassment can be defined as \u201cunwelcome\u201d sexually determined behavior as:<\/span><\/li><\/ul><ol><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Physical contact and advances:<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Sexually collared remarks:<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Showing pornography and,\u00a0<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Other unwelcome physical, verbal or non-verbal contact of sexual nature.<\/span><\/li><\/ol><ul><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The following is also sexual harassment and is covered by the committee:<\/span><\/li><\/ul><ol><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Eve-teasing.<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Unsavoury remarks.<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Jokes causing or likely to cause awkwardness or embarrassment.<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Gender-biassed insult or sexual remarks and<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Forcible physical touch or molestation.<\/span><\/li><\/ol><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Frequency of meeting: one in a year and as and when necessary<\/span><\/p><h2>\u00a0<\/h2>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<section class=\"elementor-section elementor-inner-section elementor-element elementor-element-f3d436a
